Continuity: When Erin is entering the airport to leave New York, she is pulling one suitcase. Once her sister picks her up in California and they are exiting the sister's vehicle, Erin is pulling one suitcase and her sister is also pulling a suitcase.
Continuity: While talking to the waiter at the restaurant the cap on the wine bottle switches from on the bottle to off.
Continuity: During the Bar-b-q at Erin's sister's house, Corinne puts two hamburgers on the plate. In the next shot, the burgers are gone from the plate as she puts two more burgers on the plate.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Garret and Box are discussing why Box grew his mustache, there are several references to the 1970s, including "Burt and his Camaro", which is an obvious allusion to Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. However, the car Burt drove in all of the Smokey and the Bandit movies was a Pontiac Trans Am, not a Chevrolet Camaro.
Garrett: So...
Amy: So...
Garrett: Happy Birthday
Amy: Oh. Thank you for the take-out.
Garrett: Sure. It's the least I could do. It is your birthday after all.
Erin: We haven't set the boundaries yet. Okay?
Corinne: Oh, my God.
Erin: We're not trying to choke each other with commitment. But now you're fucking freaking me out and I can't do anything but picture him humping some fucking bartender. Thank you.
Corinne: I'm your sister. This is what I'm here to do: terrify you.
